Whether you have formal diagnoses of neurodivergencies such as ADHD, auDHD, 2e, high sensitivity, and dyslexia or simply suspect that your brain works differently from your peers, you are in the right place.
Coaching with me is a thought-provoking, creative partnership that inspires and supports you to maximize your potential, address your challenges in new ways, and accomplish your goals. We are not here to "fix" you. We are gaining greater understanding and acceptance of your unique brain and exploring new ways to cooperate with it.
I listen deeply without judgment; ask questions that provoke insights and greater awareness; tell you what I see; and invite you to explore the power of metaphor, access your feelings, and rediscover your own body's wisdom.
"There’s so much energy in the world for transformation... go where the energy is."
~ Economist Kate Raworth
You might be exhausted. You might event be burnt out. Perhaps swinging from frenetic productivity to near paralysis and back again is no longer serving you. Maybe your temper and impatience are impacting your ability to effectively lead your team. Or after years of self abandonment in the name of generosity and service to others you find yourself unfulfilled and resentful.
You are ready to shift from shame and unending attempts at "fixing" yourself to understanding and accepting your unique strengths as well as your challenges.
You are courageously willing to uncover the beliefs, behavior patterns, and stories that chain you to the status quo.
You are open to exploring creative ways for cooperating with your brain so that you can - perhaps for the first time - authentically build the career and life that you aspire to.
Coaching with me you will:
🔸 Shift from surviving to thriving in your career by aligning your daily practices with your guiding values.
🔸 Show up more confidently, fully, and effectively for difficult conversations.
🔸 Stave off burnout and overwhelm by establishing clear boundaries.
🔸 Increase your influence in the workplace by better regulating your emotions.
🔸 Take back agency for your work life by interrupting and changing your well-worn patterns of self abandonment and black & white thinking.
My journey to coaching has been a circuitous one, informed by my personal experiences as much as my professional ones. Crowned as gifted in my childhood, I recently recognized that I have ADHD. With the diagnosis has come incredible clarity, including acceptance of my challenges and celebration of my unique strengths: comfort in my own skin.
Having experienced the transformative power of effective coaching, I am committed to creating nonjudgmental space for clients to explore, grow, and create their own paths through and forward.
I am an International Coaching Federation certified coach (ACC) and a former strategy advisor in the nonprofit and philanthropy sector, online political organizer, and academic. I hold an M.A. in sociology from Harvard University and a B.A. in psychology and sociology from Indiana University. Through the peak of the pandemic, I dedicated three years to bolstering the community morale at a global software consultancy, as well as promoting inclusive and effective team practices in hybrid, remote, and distributed contexts.
My coaching is informed by my conscious dance and meditation practices. I count Jack Kornfield, Tara Brach, Thich Nhat Hanh, and Parker Palmer, among the teachers from whom I draw insight and inspiration.
I am a member of ICF, the International Coaching Federation; ADDA, Attention Deficit Disorder Association; CHADD; and ACO, the ADHD coaches organization.
I use she and her as my pronouns.
